We understand that travel plans can change. While we always look forward to hosting you, this cancellation policy has been designed to maintain fairness for our travelers, our team, and our local partners. We request you to read the following terms carefully before confirming your booking.
General Cancellation Rules
- The booking/advance amount is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Refunds, if applicable, are calculated only on the remaining amount paid, after deducting the non-refundable booking amount and applicable charges.
- All cancellations must be communicated via email only to be considered valid. Requests made through phone calls, WhatsApp, or social media will not be accepted.
1. Short Duration / Weekend Trips (Up to 3 Days)
Refunds on the total trip cost (excluding the non-refundable booking amount) will be processed as per the following schedule:

Rules for Cancellations / Changes by the Participant
1. How to Cancel or Modify
All cancellation or modification requests must be sent via email to:
For faster processing, please reply to your booking confirmation email. Requests via calls, WhatsApp, or social media will not be accepted.
2. Participant Replacement
A participant may be replaced (except for flight/train/Volvo bookings) only if:
- The booking is fully paid
- The trip departure is 7 days or more away
- No flight, train, or Volvo tickets have been booked for that individual
Note: All transport bookings (flight/train/Volvo) are non-transferable and non-refundable.
3. Refund Method
- Once a cancellation is approved, a travel credit voucher will be issued via email within 2 working days.
- The voucher will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
4. Payment Gateway Charges
- All refunds will be subject to 2.5% payment gateway charges and 5% GST.
- These charges will not apply if the payment was made via UPI.
Cancellations / Changes by Namasteyatraa
Namasteyatraa reserves the right to cancel or modify any trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Natural calamities
- Government regulations or restrictions
- Minimum group size not being met
- Operational or logistical challenges
In such cases:
- A full travel credit voucher will be issued (valid for 1 year).
- No cash refunds will be provided.
- If the trip is postponed or rescheduled, your booking will be moved to the new date unless you request otherwise.
Force Majeure Policy
Events beyond our control such as natural disasters, landslides, heavy snowfall, pandemics, political unrest, or any act of God fall under Force Majeure.
In such situations:
- No refunds will be issued
- A full trip credit will be provided for future use
- Any additional expenses due to rerouting, extended stays, or alternate transport will be borne by the participant
If a Participant Drops Out Midway
- No refunds will be issued for unused services
- Any arrangements for early return will be chargeable at actual cost
- Namasteyatraa reserves the right to refuse mid-trip dropouts if safe or feasible arrangements cannot be ensured
Code of Conduct & Community Ethics
Namasteyatraa is a responsible, community-driven travel brand. We maintain zero tolerance for:
- Abusive or aggressive behavior
- Use of foul language or threats toward team members
- Defamation or misuse of social media against the community
In such cases, Namasteyatraa reserves the right to:
- Cancel the booking without any refund
- Deny future bookings permanently
